Position Description

EOHHS is seeking to hire a MMIS SQA Analyst to join our collaborative Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) team. The MMIS SQA analyst should possess experience working on largescale integration projects and a strong understanding of Medicaid and/or health insurance business processes. This role manages quality assurance for the MMIS system, supporting ongoing releases and analysis efforts. The key responsibilities include Functional testing, smoke testing and performance testing. The MMIS SQA Analyst will actively participate in MMIS internal projects, contribute to Quality Assurance standards, and support improvements to the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Candidates with prior experience in Medicaid systems will be given preference.

The MMIS SQA Analyst will be called upon to act as an active member in all phases of the project including gap analysis, design and development activities, documentation, testing, implementation, and stabilization. The MMIS SQA Analyst is expected to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders; therefore, exceptional communication, coordination, and documentation skills are essential for success in this role. Design and develop test cases and execution by both manual and automated methods. Assist and mentor team members and provide backup support for the test manager. Conduct requirements analysis, develop day-over-day test metric reporting, review test cases, and scenarios to ensure software compliance. Work closely with the test manager to oversee the day-to-day test execution, defect tracking/reporting results, and facilitate status report in daily status calls.

The primary work location for this role will be at 1 Enterprise Drive Quincy, Massachusetts 02171. The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines inoffice workdays and work from home days as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on the operational needs of the business.
