Role: SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with Variant Configuration (LO
VC, SSC, AVC)
Location: Austin, TX (Fully onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Must have:

with strong expertise in Variant Configuration (LO VC, SSC, AVC) to
support Configure to Order processes across SD, PP, and MM.
• Deep understanding of SD, PP, MM integration points for configurable
materials
• Lead AVC/SSC modeling in S/4HANA using relevant Fiori applications
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with
strong hands-on expertise in Variant Configuration (LO VC, SSC, AVC) to
support Configure-to-Order (CTO) processes across SD, PP, and MM. The
role involves end-to-end VC design, migration to Advanced Variant
Configuration, and close collaboration with cross-functional and
integration teams.
Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, and maintain variant models, including
characteristics, classes, dependencies, and configuration profiles.
• Build and manage Super BOMs and Super Routings, material variants, and
variant pricing.
• Lead AVC / SSC modeling in SAP S/4HANA using relevant Fiori
applications.
• Support and integrate Sales Order configuration, MRP, costing, ATP /
aATP, and production processes.
• Lead LO VC to AVC migration, including dependency conversion, model
optimization, and cleanup.
• Collaborate with SD, PP, MM, SAP CPQ / Commerce Cloud, and integration
teams to ensure seamless end-to-end CTO processes.
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, test cases, and
scenarios.
• Support UAT, cutover, and go-live activities, including post-go-live
stabilization.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 7–10+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in LO VC,
SSC, and AVC.
• Deep understanding of SD, PP, and MM integration points for
configurable materials.
• Proven experience with:
o Variant pricing and costing
o MRP explosion for configurable materials
o Super BOMs and Super Routings
• Practical knowledge of AVC Fiori apps, dependency modeling, and
performance optimization.
