Job Description

•      BAP Development for S/4HANA: Design, develop, and optimize ABAP

programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms

(RICEF) for S/4HANA, leveraging the capabilities of the HANA database.

•      HANA-Specific Optimizations: Utilize Core Data Services (CDS) Views

for data modeling and consumption, implement ABAP Managed Database

Procedures (AMDP) for performance-critical logic, and develop OData

services for integrations.

•      Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces with other SAP and

non-SAP systems, utilizing various integration technologies.

•      Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize ABAP code for

performance, ensuring efficient execution on the HANA database.

•      Technical Design & Documentation: Create detailed technical

specifications, designs, and documentation for developed solutions.

•      Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot

issues, and perform debugging for S/4HANA applications.

•      Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business

users, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver

solutions.

•      Adherence to Standards: Ensure development adheres to SAP best

practices, coding standards, and project methodologies (e.g., Agile,

DevOps).

Skillset required:

•      ABAP Expertise: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including

object-oriented ABAP.

•      S/4HANA Knowledge: Deep understanding of S/4HANA architecture, data

model, and key functionalities.

•      Restful Application Programming: Using RESTful principles to build

services for easy communication and data exchange between web

applications.

•      HANA-Specific Technologies: Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and OData

services.

•      Relevant Experience: Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, with a

focus on S/4HANA implementations .

•      Form Development: ADOBE skillset.

•      Integration Technologies: Experience with various integration methods

(e.g., ODATA(REST), RFC, IDoc).

•      Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and

interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

•      Debugging & Performance Tuning: Strong skills in debugging and

optimizing ABAP code for performance.

•      Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex

business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
