Job Description:

Need Data Engineer with AWS,Python experience.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team supporting initiatives at Fannie Mae in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, AWS, and SQL and will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting data-driven solutions within a cloud environment.

This role requires working closely with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to design and maintain efficient data architectures that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL.

Build and manage data solutions on AWS, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.

Develop and optimize data models and database structures for analytical and operational use cases.

Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.

Work with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and application developers to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and implement performance improvements.

Implement best practices for data engineering, security, and cloud-based data architecture.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.

Strong programming experience with Python.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, or similar).

Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and data modeling.

Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.

Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
