Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant – S/4HANA Implementation

Work location: Lisle, IL (Working 4 days a week from office)

Duration: 6+ Months contract

About role:

• Support end-to-end S/4HANA implementation / migration lifecycle

• Configure and manage BTP landscape and connectivity with S/4 systems

• Coordinate with SAP RISE team, AWS, and integration teams (Datasphere/Azure if applicable)

• Ensure system stability, transport governance, and performance optimization

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges

Required Skills:

• 5-10 years in SAP Basis administration

• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementation / conversion projects

• Exposure to cloud-based SAP landscapes (RISE / hyperscalers)

Must-Have Skills:

1.        S/4HANA Implementation & Migration

•        Experience in SAP S/4HANA installation, upgrade, or system conversion (SUM/DMO)

•        Strong understanding of system landscape (DEV, QA, PROD)

2.        SAP HANA Administration

•        HANA DB monitoring, backup/restore, tenant DB management

•        Familiarity with HANA Studio / Cockpit

3.        RISE with SAP on Amazon Web Services

•        Understanding of RISE architecture and SAP-managed cloud model

•        Coordination with SAP & AWS for infra provisioning, access, and incidents

4.        SAP BTP Configuration & Connectivity

•        Experience in SAP Business Technology Platform setup and administration

•        Configuring subaccounts, entitlements, destinations, and connectivity (Cloud Connector)

•        Basic understanding of integration with S/4HANA

5.        Transport & System Operations

•        Strong hands-on in TMS, transport routes, release/import cycles

•        System monitoring (ST22, SM21, SM37), performance tuning, issue resolution

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

• Exposure to SAP Datasphere configuration and integration

• Knowledge of Fiori / Gateway administration

• Experience with Solution Manager / Focused Run
