Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer with strong skills in Unix/Linux systems and a foundational understanding of Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift container platforms in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters (on-premises or cloud-based).
• Maintain and monitor containerized applications in OpenShift.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues related to OpenShift and Unix/Linux platforms.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Shell scripts, or other tools.
• Support Java application deployments and monitor performance within the OpenShift platform.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices across the container environment.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OKD experience acceptable in some cases).
• Strong command of Unix/Linux (preferably RHEL/CentOS).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts and tools.
• Understanding of networking, security, and system performance tuning.
• Scripting experience using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
