Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Consultant with extensive experience in the Retail industry and a strong track record of SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in master data management, governance processes, data migration, and integration with various SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage SAP MDG implementation projects, focusing on Retail Master Data (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance).
• Define MDG governance models, data structures, and workflows for data lifecycle management.
• Design, configure, and customize SAP MDG solutions to ensure compliance with business processes.
• Drive data migration strategies, cleansing activities, and validation procedures for S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and functional consultants to align MDG solutions with enterprise data strategy.
• Provide expertise in data replication, integration, and consolidation across SAP and third-party systems.
• Support cutover planning, testing, and hypercare phases of the project.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
• Ensure compliance, security, and regulatory requirements for master data governance.
• Optimize and enhance MDG processes for better data quality, consistency, and business efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 12+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP MDG and Master Data Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, preferably in the Retail sector.
• Expertise in MDG domains such as Material, Business Partner (Vendor & Customer), Finance Master Data.
• Strong knowledge of MDG workflows, BRF+, Data Modeling, and UI Customization.
• Experience with data migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, BODS) and integration with SAP & non-SAP systems.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and SAP MDG UI Enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Retail industry processes, product hierarchies, and classification data.
• Experience in working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
