Position: Java Backend Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (Locals only & Onsite)
Duration: 12+ months contract
Note: Ex-Verizon with CXP or Customer Service Project experience
Job Description:
Looking for a Java Backend / Microservices Developer to support enterprise-scale development within Verizon's application ecosystem. The developer will work on CXP (Customer Experience Platform) applications, focusing on designing and implementing domain-driven microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot, with reactive components built using Spring WebFlux.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
- Implement domain & aggregate structures following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
- Develop reactive services using Spring Reactive (WebFlux) for high throughput and low latency.
- Build and integrate services into CXP applications supporting large-scale customer experience operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Java 11+/17.
- Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Reactive (WebFlux).
- Experience building REST-based microservices.
- Familiarity with DDD (Domain & Aggregate patterns).
- Telecom domain experience is a plus.
