Must-Have

• SAP S/4HANA System Administration: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of S/4HANA systems.
• HANA Database Administration: Backup/restore, performance tuning, memory management.
• Transport Management System (TMS): Setup and monitoring of transport routes and logs.
• SAP Fiori Administration: Launchpad configuration, catalog and group management.
• SAP Kernel and Patch Management: Applying updates, SPAM/SAINT usage.
• Client Administration: Client copy, client export/import, logical system setup.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Using tools like ST22, SM21, ST06, SM50, etc.
• User & Role Management: SU01, PFCG, authorization concepts
• SAP BTP Administration
• SAP Cloud Connector: If hybrid scenarios are involved.

Good-to-Have  

SAP Solution Manager: Basic configuration, monitoring, and CHARM.

SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT): For data replication scenarios.

SAP HANA Cockpit & Studio: Advanced DB monitoring and modeling.

Linux OS & Shell Scripting: For automation and system-level troubleshooting.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1            Act as a SME and Operations tower Lead who would collaborate closely with Client SME and drive the team towards the deliverables.

2            Ensure smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA systems including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.

3            Monitor and manage HANA DB performance, backups, restores, and memory optimization.

4            Administer transport routes and ensure proper change control across development, quality, and production systems.

5            Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations in compliance with security and audit standards.

6            Support Fiori Launchpad setup and troubleshoot UI-related issues; manage Web Dispatcher and SSL certificates.
