Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Team at Ally Financial. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing and managing the enterprise cloud platform while providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services with a focus on security and compliance

Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve cloud platform efficiency

Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members in implementing cloud strategies

Develop monitoring and metrics collection strategies to enhance visibility and implement alerting for service reliability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an agile delivery environment
