Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAS Data Analyst to support analytics, reporting, data validation, and pre-demo preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAS scripting, SQL, and data analysis, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including Product Owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize SAS scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data profiling, validation, and reporting.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Support and conduct pre-demo activities, including data preparation and validation.
- Execute functional and data testing to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
- Work closely with the Product Owner, business teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver insights.
- Assist in improving existing processes, reporting frameworks, and data quality checks.
- Prepare documentation, data dictionaries, and analysis reports as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience as a SAS Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAS (Base, Macro, SQL).
- Solid experience with SQL and working with large, complex data sets.
- Proven ability in data analysis, validation, and interpretation.
- Prior experience supporting demos, UAT, and testing cycles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, banking, or credit domain.
- Knowledge of data visualization or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- SAS certification(s).
