We’re Hiring | Senior Confluent Kafka Engineer

Location ;- Richardson, TX

We are looking for an experienced Confluent Kafka / Streaming Platform Engineer to design, build, and support high-volume, mission-critical real-time data streaming platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Confluent Kafka platforms (Cloud + On-Prem)

Build scalable, secure, real-time streaming architectures

Support HA/DR, performance tuning, and cross-data center replication

Implement security, RBAC, authentication & compliance standards

Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, and product teams

Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices

Provide technical leadership and contribute to design/code reviews

Required Experience

6+ years of Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka

Strong experience with Confluent Cloud (RBAC, connectors, ksqlDB, producers/consumers)

Hands-on on-prem Kafka (brokers, ZooKeeper, replication)

Experience with cross-DC replication in enterprise environments

6+ years of cloud experience (GCP preferred)

Strong Linux/Unix, networking (TCP/IP), and automation skills

Solid background in HA/DR, security, and performance optimization
