Job Title: Oracle HRMS Functional Lead

Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite)

Type: 6 months (Contract)

 

Job Description:

Oracle HR Functional Consultant responsible for supporting and configuring Oracle EBS R12 HR modules, including Core HR and SSHR. The role involves requirement gathering, functional design, HR security configuration, testing support, and coordination with technical teams for integrations and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Primary Skill: Oracle HRMS
  • Experience Required: 6–8 years
  • Strong experience with Oracle E Business Suite R12 (12.1.x / 12.2.x) including Core HR, SSHR, and OAF Self Service.
  • Strong understanding of HR setups including Jobs, Positions, Grade/Grade Rates, Salary Basis, People Management, and Element Eligibility.
  • Hands-on experience with HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, Security Groups, and Organization Hierarchies.
  • Functional understanding of AME, Approvals, and Fast Formulas.
  • Strong exposure to Client objects including Users, Responsibilities, Menus, Functions, and Profile Options.
  • Familiarity with Client setups such as Value Sets, Lookups, UDTs, Concurrent Programs, and Request Groups.
  • Knowledge of HR Workflows, Mailer setups, and Notifications.
  • Understanding of integrations, inbound and outbound interfaces, XML Publisher, Alerts, and WebADIs.
  • Experience in testing cycles including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Payroll Parallel Runs.
  • Understanding of HR audits, access reviews, and GRC controls.
  • Ability to write BR100, MD050 (Functional), TE040 test scripts, and SOPs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure Core HR and SSHR modules in Oracle EBS R12.
  • Drive requirement gathering workshops, GAP analysis, and functional design documentation.
  • Maintain and update HR Security Profiles, Custom Security, and Organization Hierarchies.
  • Support functional testing across Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Payroll Parallel Runs.
  • Review HR processes, propose optimizations, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, conversions, customizations, and reports.
  • Validate payroll calculations, costing, and end-to-end process flows.
  • Support AME rules, workflow approvals, and form personalizations from a functional perspective.
  • Conduct HR data validations and support employee data corrections.
  • Perform impact analysis for patches, upgrades, and monthly releases.
  • Create user training documents and provide end-user training.
  • Work with SOA, EDI, Network, and IDM teams for functional coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with HR audits, security reviews, and change management processes.
