Job Description::

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management, hands-on experience with Jira, Scrum, and GitHub, and the ability to work closely with engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. A technical background in Java is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with development teams and understand technical challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or IT Project Management.
• Strong experience managing Agile/Scrum software development projects.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, reporting, and tracking project progress.
• Strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies, Agile principles, and SDLC.
• Experience using GitHub for code repository management, release tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong risk management, issue resolution, and project planning skills.
• Experience creating project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive-level presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in Java development (good to have).
• Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, or cloud-based applications.
• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Maintain and prioritize project backlogs using Jira.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define sprint goals and prioritize work items.
• Coordinate with development teams using GitHub to monitor code delivery and release progress.
• Track project metrics including sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Remove blockers and facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Support release planning and production deployment activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and project execution.

Nice to Have

• Java development background.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Confluence and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
