Role: Snowflake Data Engineer 

Contract, Hybrid - Chicago, IL (Need Locals)

Required Skills & Experience:

·         5–10+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud migration, or related domains.

·         Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, SnowSQL, data sharing, warehouses, roles, tasks, streams).

·         Design, build, and optimize Snowflake data pipelines, schemas, integrations, and workloads.

·         Experience migrating large datasets from on-prem to cloud platforms (AZURE).

·         Strong SQL, ETL/ELT, and data integration experience (Informatica, DBT, ADF, Glue, etc. – if applicable).

·         Excellent communication skills to engage business and technical teams.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Experience in financial services or banking domain is a plus.

Nice to Have:

·         Experience with Cloud Data Warehousing modernization projects.

·         Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, or automation frameworks.

·         Snowflake Certifications.
