Job Description

Houston Metro is seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Strategic Sourcing, RFx processes, Contract Management, and SAP Ariba Integration. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of SAP MM procurement processes and hands-on experience in integrating SAP ECC/S4HANA with Ariba solutions in large enterprise environments.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, technical teams, and project leadership to support procurement transformation initiatives, optimize sourcing operations, and drive end-to-end SAP MM and Ariba integration solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience
• Strong experience in SAP Strategic Sourcing (SC)
• Hands-on expertise with RFx lifecycle management
• Extensive experience in Contract Management processes
• Strong experience with SAP Ariba Integration
• Experience integrating SAP MM with Ariba Buying, Sourcing, and Contracts modules
• Expertise in procurement lifecycle, vendor management, sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• Strong understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes
• Experience in configuration, testing, deployment, and production support
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Experience working with middleware/integration tools such as CPI/PI/PO preferred
• Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing skills
• Experience working in public sector or transportation domain is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM and Ariba procurement transformation initiatives
• Configure and support SAP MM procurement and sourcing functionalities
• Manage RFx processes including bid management, supplier collaboration, and evaluation workflows
• Implement and support Contract Management solutions
• Design and support integration between SAP MM and SAP Ariba platforms
• Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design discussions
• Collaborate with technical teams for interface development and issue resolution
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production activities
• Provide best practices and process optimization recommendations
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and solution documentation
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and project leadership teams

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MM Certification preferred
• SAP Ariba functional experience preferred
• Experience in large enterprise implementation projects
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
