Role: Senior Backend Engineer
Contract Type:W2
Need only USC/GC can work on our W2 role.
Job Location: Rockville MD or Tysons Corner VA (must currently be in a commutable distance to either of these locations!)
Days a Week Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: 3 days on site
End-to-End Engineering: Design, build, test, and support scalable, full-stack technical solutions within an Agile environment, leveraging distributed microservices and big data architectures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into robust, high-performing application features.
High-Performance API & Data Delivery: Architect and maintain high-throughput API platforms on AWS, ensuring interactive-speed data access while adhering to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
AI-Driven Development: Responsibly leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate development efficiency, optimize code quality, and drive engineering innovation.
Tech Innovation & Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging technology trends (including AI/ML), evaluate new frameworks, and actively contribute to internal and external tech communities.
Ownership & Mindset: Champion a growth mindset and a customer-centric focus, taking full accountability for deliverables and exercising sharp technical judgment.
