Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to support the design, development, optimization, and integration of enterprise Salesforce solutions across a rapidly evolving Salesforce ecosystem.

They have to be really great they will go through a 3 hr technical assessment.

This role is highly hands-on and technical, with a primary focus on Apex development, MuleSoft integrations, API development, platform optimization, and code quality. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior technical contributor while also mentoring junior developers and administrators, reviewing code, and helping establish scalable development standards and best practices across the organization.

The environment includes Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Agentforce AI initiatives, and enterprise integrations with banking and data warehouse systems.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Technical Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform-native capabilities
• Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueables, schedulables, and integrations
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design reviews
• Support development efforts across multiple Salesforce clouds and integrated systems

Integration & API Development

• Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft
• Support event-driven architecture initiatives, including Platform Events and Change Data Capture
• Optimize API usage, integration performance, and overall platform efficiency
• Work closely with relational databases and enterprise data environments to support data movement and integrations

Platform Optimization & Best Practices

• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards, governance, and best practices
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce governor limits and bulkification standards
• Implement scalable trigger frameworks and reusable development patterns
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to performance, integrations, and scalability
• Help optimize Salesforce resource consumption, monitoring, and overall platform health

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Partner with Salesforce Admins, Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and administrators
• Help raise overall technical maturity and coding standards across the team
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in technical discovery sessions and collaborative solution design discussions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
• Strong Apex development experience
• Experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong MuleSoft integration experience
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of SOQL/SOSL and relational database concepts
• Experience working with trigger frameworks and bulkification best practices
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring technical team members
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling and security concepts
