Position Overview
The EBS Technical Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical solutions that align with enterprise business requirements. This role provides architectural leadership across EBS modules, integrations, extensions, upgrades, and cloud-migration initiatives. The architect ensures that technical designs bring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability to the organization’s Oracle ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
· Define and maintain the technical architecture for Oracle EBS (R12 or later) across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or other business domains.
· Design scalable solutions leveraging EBS native capabilities, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and custom extensions.
· Establish standards for coding, integration, customization, and documentation across the technical landscape.
· Lead technical design sessions and guide development teams on best practices for EBS customizations, interfaces, conversions, and workflows.
Provide direction on EBS technology stack including Forms, PL/SQL, OAF, APEX, BI Publisher, Workflow, AME, and related tools.
· Support cross-functional solution governance including design reviews, code reviews, and architectural recommendations.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
· 15+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite technical components.
· Strong understanding of EBS architecture, schemas, APIs, and framework components.
· Design architecture for SCM modules: OM, INV, PO, WIP, BOM, MRP, ASCP, Shipping, iProcurement, iSupplier.

· Architect end-to-end technical solutions for order-to-cash (OTC), procure-to-pay (P2P), plan-to-produce (P2M), and warehouse operations.

· Create integration strategies with 3PLs, logistics providers, manufacturing systems, and planning tools.
· Design and optimize technical solutions for Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, SLA, iExpense, Projects Accounting.
· Architect integrations with banking systems, payment gateways, tax engines, procurement, and external reporting tools.
· Ensure financial data integrity, auditability, reconciliation accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
