- Interview Process: 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. Planning for interviews the week of 5/18
- Assignment duration: Ongoing contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs
- Hybrid Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable): There is no remote-only option
Required onsite days- Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Remote eligible days- Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays

- Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage direct engagement with stakeholders and vendors, dedicating approximately 15–20% of time to executive-level communication, including high-level project oversight, stakeholder alignment, and leading monthly sponsor meetings to provide project health updates
· Establish and monitor project controlling methods to ensure timely knowledge and awareness of changes to project cost, quality or schedule.
· Provide planning, staffing, and reporting to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects according to the sponsor’s goals and objectives. Planning, staffing, and reporting should adhere to the State of Michigan’s SUITE Project Management Methodology and the Agency’s project prioritization process. Planning, staffing and reporting spans the entire lifecycle of the project from initiation to closeout.
· Directs and coordinates the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan.
· Perform miscellaneous functions as needed to contribute to the overall operation and objectives of the Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience working in a government or public sector environment is preferred
· Experience in multiple relevant roles (e.g., Project Manager, Program Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar leadership/support roles) is preferred
