Role :Senior GIS Developer 

Location: Washington DC   (on site Hybrid)

Senior GIS Developer to lead the integration of ArcGIS Enterprise with core corporate systems for a major transportation leader. This role focuses on high-level systems architecture, custom middleware development, and rail infrastructure optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• System Integration: Design and maintain robust connections between Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and corporate apps using Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Custom Development: Build high-performance web applications and custom widgets using ArcGIS Experience Builder.
• Data Management: Oversee SQL Server databases, manage ArcGIS map services, and perform complex geospatial analysis.
• Technical Leadership: Define GIS best practices, document architectures, and consult with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Top Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in software development with a deep focus on the Esri ecosystem.
• Development Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
• GIS Expertise: Mastery of ArcGIS Enterprise (map compilation, geoprocessing, and spatial modeling).
• Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency with ArcGIS Roads and Highways or Network Analyst (highly preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, GIS, or a related technical field.
