Looking for hands-on leadership in React (Frontend) and Go (Backend) development

Position Overview:

The client is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to join its dynamic Digital Technology team in Bethesda, MD. This role involves leading the design, development, and troubleshooting of impactful, customer-focused applications. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering and collaborate across cross-functional teams to build scalable, cloud-native web and mobile solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3 development.
• 4+ years with React / React Native (functional components and hooks).
• 3+ years working with Go (Golang) or other statically typed languages (C, C++, Rust).
• Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), RESTful APIs, and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on experience with Redux, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with code quality standards, documentation, and automated testing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster collaborative, innovative work environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with cloud-native architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to mobile-first development and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Previous experience in a contract-to-hire or enterprise digital modernization environment.
