Hiring: EITS Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced EITS Security Architect to bridge strategic cybersecurity initiatives with enterprise technology implementation. This role will partner closely with the CISO organization, security engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide security architecture, compliance, and risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security architecture strategy and implementation across enterprise platforms

• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation planning

• Design and implement security controls aligned with compliance frameworks

• Provide architecture guidance to senior IT leadership and cross-functional teams

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security engineering teams

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, Joint Commission, and state privacy regulations

• Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in security architecture, IAM, MFA, PKI, Active Directory, and access federation

• Deep understanding of network security architecture, TCP/IP, OSI model, and defense-in-depth principles

• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and MacOS environments

• Knowledge of encryption algorithms, secure configuration management, and software engineering principles

• Experience performing vulnerability scans and designing countermeasures

• Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and risk management standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field

• CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent certifications preferred

• 10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years focused on Cybersecurity and Solution Design
