Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CMS QE Automation Expert with 8–10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, SDET, test automation, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java, Selenium, API testing, and microservices.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for AEM/CMS platforms, along with expertise in REST/SOAP API automation, Java-based test automation, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG/JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines.
The candidate will be responsible for validating CMS authoring and publishing workflows, AEM components and templates, APIs, integrations, content delivery, and end-to-end CMS-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and CMS platforms.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and other industry-standard automation frameworks.
- Build and execute REST/SOAP API automation using tools such as RestAssured.
- Validate AEM content authoring, publishing, workflows, templates, components, and content delivery.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for CMS-driven applications.
- Validate content rendering, versioning, approvals, workflows, and publishing processes across multiple environments.
- Test multi-site and multi-locale content delivery and ensure consistent content behavior across platforms.
- Test integrations between AEM/CMS and DAM, personalization platforms, microservices, third-party APIs, and downstream/upstream applications.
- Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Perform API contract testing, schema validation, negative testing, boundary testing, and edge-case validation.
- Validate API responses, status codes, request/response payloads, authentication, and error handling.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Execute automated regression suites as part of continuous integration and release validation.
- Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using appropriate defect-management tools.
- Work closely with developers, content authors, product teams, DevOps engineers, and QA/QE teams.
- Participate in test strategy, test planning, estimation, and release-readiness activities.
- Generate automation execution reports, defect reports, test metrics, and release-readiness summaries.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing methodologies, quality processes, and overall test coverage.
Required Technical Skills
CMS / AEM
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience testing CMS authoring and publishing workflows.
- Knowledge of AEM components, templates, workflows, content fragments, versioning, and content delivery.
- Experience testing AEM integrations with DAM and external systems.
