Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis (must be documented).

Minimum Mandatory Qualifications / Experience

The Software Engineer must have a minimum of five (5) consecutive years of experience providing Software Engineering services. This experience must include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems using various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).

• Working closely with project teams, designers, business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical specifications are met.

• Conducting tests and debugging software applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.

• Developing project documentation, system specifications and user manuals.

• Reporting to project timelines and ensuring project deliverables are met.

Minimum of five (5) consecutive years of experience providing software engineering services to a California State Department, federal, state, local or public agency which two (2) of these years must have been using Agile Methodology.
