Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices Developer with 7–8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, microservices, API development, and reactive programming. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS/Cloud, API Gateway, Config Server, and unit testing. The candidate should be comfortable working in a highly collaborative Agile environment and developing scalable, resilient, cloud-ready applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and REST APIs/endpoints.
- Build scalable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop reactive and non-blocking applications using Reactive Programming / Spring WebFlux.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices with internal and external systems.
- Configure and maintain Spring Cloud Config Server and API Gateway.
- Implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications.
- Work with AWS or other cloud platforms for application deployment and integration.
- Write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Troubleshoot application, API, microservices, and integration issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments across different environments.
Required Skills
- 7–8+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience developing Microservices, REST APIs, and endpoints.
- Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming and preferably Spring WebFlux.
