Role: Senior Cloud Network Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Networking Engineer to design, implement, and optimize networking solutions across our cloud environments. You will
be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing network connectivity for our global systems. This role will partner closely with cloud, DevOps, and security
teams to deliver reliable cloud networking architectures that meet the needs of a growing, mission-critical platform.
Cloud Networking Design & Implementation
·Architect and maintain networking solutions in AWS and GCP including VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, and hybrid connectivity.
·Design and configure load balancing, API gateways, private service access, and
·service meshes for modern application environments. Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions.
·Optimize network performance, latency, and availability for distributed systems.
Security & Compliance
·Enforce network security best practices, including zero-trust principles, segmentation, and encryption in transit.
·Partner with the security team to monitor for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threats.
·Support compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) through secure network design.
Operations & Troubleshooting
·Lead advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity, latency, and throughput issues.
·Build automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) for network provisioning.
·Maintain observability and monitoring tools to ensure health and reliability of network services.
·Provide on-call support for critical infrastructure networking issues.
Collaboration & Strategy
·Work closely with Cloud Architect, cloud infrastructure, and application teams to ensure networking aligns with business requirements.
·Contribute to long-term cloud networking strategy, including multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity.
·Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices.
