Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer with DevOps

Job Description:

In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Assess and prioritize team’s current backlog and coordinate delivery timelines to meet compliance deliverables and business deliverables

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

5+ years of Java experience

5+ years of API - driven development experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON

5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on API design, development, and integration

5+ years of experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps concepts

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Working knowledge of AI concepts and experience integrating with AI tools, APIs

3+ years’ experience in any of the following front-end technologies: Typescript, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, Ajax and HTML 5

2+ years’ experience in UI development using React or Angular

3+ years of experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)

3+ years of hands-on experience in using BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, Karate etc.)

Solid understanding of web application security principles, including authentication, authorization, secure session management, encryption, and protection against common vulnerabilities

4+ years of experience with Azure, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry) OpenShift or other PaaS and cloud technologies

4+ years of experience with Jira software, Confluence software, Draw.io

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
