Job Description:

Gen II Fund Services is seeking an experienced AI Lead with deep expertise in Agentic AI architectures, OpenAI / ChatGPT, and Python-based AI solutions to drive the design and implementation of intelligent, autonomous systems across enterprise platforms. This role will lead AI initiatives that enhance automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency within financial services and fund administration domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, tool usage, and multi-step execution.
• Design and implement AI solutions leveraging OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs, function calling, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Build scalable, production-grade AI services using Python, integrating LLMs with enterprise systems via RESTful APIs.
• Define AI solution architecture, security standards, and governance models aligned with financial services compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases such as document intelligence, workflow automation, knowledge assistants, and operational analytics.
• Guide teams on prompt engineering, model evaluation, observability, and performance optimization.
• Integrate AI agents with internal platforms, data sources, and third-party systems through secure API frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to AI and engineering teams.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including data privacy, model safety, and auditability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on AI/ML and intelligent automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent architectures.
• Strong expertise with OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs, including function calling, embeddings, and RAG implementations.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for AI application development.
• Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating AI services into enterprise platforms.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
