Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior BI Developer to lead the migration of WebFocus BI reports to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, with hands-on experience in WebFocus, Power BI, SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling. This role requires a deep understanding of legacy BI systems and modern reporting platforms, with a focus on accuracy, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing WebFocus BI reports and translate them into Power BI equivalents with enhanced interactivity and performance.
• Design and implement robust data models in Power BI using DAX and Power Query.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure seamless migration.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support data extraction and transformation.
• Work closely with ETL developers to ensure data pipelines are efficient, accurate, and scalable.
• Validate migrated reports for data accuracy, performance, and visual consistency.
• Document migration processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
• Provide support and training to end users on Power BI dashboards and features.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of overall experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with WebFocus BI (report development, InfoAssist, App Studio, etc)
