Overview:

A global media and entertainment organization is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to support its ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation. This position will serve as the Business Unit (BU) lead for the Corporate group, representing functions such as Consolidations, Corporate HQ Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Global Finance Operations (GFO) — including Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).

The ideal candidate brings a strong finance background, hands-on experience with ERP transformation (preferably SAP S/4), and the ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Corporate BU lead and primary liaison between Corporate Finance, Technical Accounting, and key global process owners (P2P, OTC, R2R).

• Support ongoing implementation and testing activities for international and domestic markets.

• Lead communications, training, and change management efforts across finance stakeholders.

• Attend and represent Corporate Finance in governance and design meetings (approx. 2 per week).

• Partner closely with Global Finance Operations and IT teams to ensure proper solutioning of cross-functional issues.

• Oversee defect resolution, ensure code block changes are tested properly, and confirm business alignment on process design decisions.

• Provide weekly updates to Corporate and BU leadership summarizing key governance decisions, deliverables, and next steps.

• Contribute to BlackLine operational support (approx. 30–40% of workload, depending on project phase).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) and corporate consolidations.

• Prior involvement in an SAP S/4HANA implementation or major ERP transformation (finance process focus preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Agile mindset; comfortable pivoting among multiple workstreams and priorities.

• Hands-on, proactive approach — ability to “roll up sleeves” to resolve issues and ensure progress.
