Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: McLean, VA 22102 (Fully Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (High chance of extension)

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade Salesforce applications. This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, solid backend and integration knowledge, and the ability to work in a fully onsite, Agile-driven environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong Salesforce development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python or strong understanding of application and architecture design principles
• Strong expertise in Salesforce and Java
• Proven experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments
• Required Salesforce Developer Certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy, and support internal Salesforce applications
• Enhance Salesforce Experience Cloud to support external customer use cases
• Integrate microservices with Salesforce using REST, SOAP, GraphQL APIs, platform events, and tools such as MuleSoft
• Update and maintain DevOps processes using in-house tools; identify and implement efficiencies
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks built using Cucumber and Selenium
• Deliver projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Participate in planning activities including:
• Impact assessments
• Level-of-effort estimation
• Developer task assignments
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
• Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis as needed
• Leverage Freddie Mac–enabled AI tools to improve delivery speed and quality

Technical Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with:
• Salesforce design, implementation, and production support
• Backend development and API integrations
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce technologies:
• Apex, SOQL, SOSL
• Lightning Components (Aura & LWC)
• Salesforce APIs
• Experience with microservices architecture using:
• Java, Spring Boot, or preferably MuleSoft
