Title: Senior ServiceNow ITIL Developer / Change Management Consultant
Location: Stamford, CT / Remote
Job Summary:
Seeking an innovative and experienced Senior ServiceNow ITIL Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM lifecycle management including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. The ideal candidate will architect, develop, test, and deploy scalable ServiceNow solutions, automate workflows, integrate external enterprise systems, and drive operational excellence aligned with ITIL standards. ITIL Foundation Certification is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions covering core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management
Translate business challenges into scalable digital workflows aligned with ITIL best practices
Develop and maintain UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Business Rules
Automate enterprise IT processes using Flow Designer and legacy Workflow tools
Build REST APIs and Scripted REST APIs for integrations with external enterprise systems and data providers
Ensure seamless data flow for decision-making, compliance reporting, and real-time monitoring
Design and manage custom Workspaces and user-centric ServiceNow interfaces
Develop performance analytics dashboards and reporting solutions
Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and release management
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Agile delivery squads
Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support for ServiceNow platform issues
Drive operational improvements and process optimization initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
6–10 years of hands-on ServiceNow Development experience
Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules
Hands-on expertise in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
Experience developing UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules
Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and legacy Workflow modules
Strong experience with REST API development and Scripted REST APIs
Experience building custom Workspaces in ServiceNow
Strong knowledge of Performance Analytics dashboards and reporting
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CMDB / Discovery / Service Catalog
Knowledge of sustainability reporting or governance platforms
ServiceNow CSA / CAD certifications preferred
Experience in enterprise integrations and automation frameworks
Knowledge of HRSD / SecOps / ITOM modules is a plus
