Position: Mainframe QA with testing experience

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:

The On-Site Testing Consultant will be stationed at the customers facility and serve as the primary testing resource responsible for validating that all 9,245 migrated components perform identically to their Bull GCOS8 counterparts on the LIBER*8/PostgreSQL 16.2/RHEL 9.4 target on GCP. This role spans the entire 9-month testing window and requires a deep understanding of GCOS8 application behavior, COBOL/TP8/TSM8 constructs, and the LIBER*8 runtime environment. The consultant must coordinate through the client project manager with OESC, OMES, G&R, Eviden, and Conduent stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Bull GCOS8 mainframe environments and GCOS8 COBOL/JCL/TP8/TSM8 technology stack.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform in a FedRAMP High environment.
• Prior work with state government clients, particularly employment/labor/workforce agencies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing credential.
• 5+ years enterprise QA/testing with at least 2 years in mainframe (GCOS8 or z/OS) environments.
• Experience in manual/automation testing
• Prepare & maintain test cases and results
• Experience with terminal emulators like Glink, 3270 Terminal etc
• Experience in any database (preferably PostgreSQL…)
