Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS & MQ Developer with strong expertise in CICS, MQ, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Mainframe Application Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system analysis, design, development, unit testing, and support of high-performance enterprise applications while adhering to established coding standards and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with CICS (Customer Information Control System) and IBM MQ.
• Solid experience in COBOL, JCL (Job Control Language), DB2, and VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) batch processing environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile Methodology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and enterprise application development practices.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform system analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and application support.
• Experience developing well-documented, maintainable, and efficient code following organizational coding standards and best practices.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions within defined project timelines.
• Experience providing accurate effort estimation, troubleshooting issues, and proactively learning complex systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of J2EE, Web Services, and distributed application architectures.
• Experience with Cloud-Based Applications, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), and integration with Mainframe systems.
• Knowledge of Retail Banking, Consumer Lending, or Financial Services domains.
