Job Summary:

This key role involves taking charge of our existing .Net-based system, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and building out robust, scalable APIs to enable new features. We require exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in architectural design principles, low-level technical specifications, and the ability to assist with code reviews/quality. As the main .Net Architect, you will guide our India-based offshore team, playing a pivotal role in driving our digital solutions. You will also work directly with client leadership and multidisciplinary local team (i.e. product owner, UX lead, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities:

•              Lead the architectural design and development of a .Net-based system, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

•              Develop and integrate with APIs, creating seamless and efficient connections with other systems.

•              Collaborate closely with front-end developers working with ReactJS to ensure smooth integration between back-end and front-end technologies.

•              Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to the offshore development team to maintain high code quality.

•              Oversee and create detailed technical specifications, ensuring comprehensive documentation for internal and external stakeholders

•              Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with the latest .Net versions (i.e. understanding of what is new in .Net 10) and industry best practices, incorporating them into the project's architecture and development process.

•              Real world experience with .Net version 8

•              Coordinate and mentor an offshore team based in India, ensuring cohesive collaboration across time zones to deliver quality code.

•              Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.

•              Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging agile methodologies to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape.

•              Ensure the solution's scalability, reliability, and performance to effectively support hundreds of end users.

Key Qualifications:

•              Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•              Proven experience as a .Net Architect or similar specialty role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

•              Extensive experience with the latest .Net technology stack, especially version 8.

•              Solid understanding of API development, system integration, and microservices architecture.

•              Deep knowledge of the .Net Entity Framework, database-to-code, and the "N+1" performance anti-pattern.

•              Hands-on coding skills in .Net (and an understanding of ReactJS concepts/integration patterns), with a knack for creating and refining technical specifications.

•              Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage both onshore and offshore teams.

•              Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.

•              Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

•              Willingness to travel to Atlanta every alternate week if not based locally.
