Position Title: Java Developer with AI

Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)

Role Summary

• Looking for a strong Backend Java Engineer with hands-on experience in MCP Servers and Agentic AI flows.
• Primary responsibility is to modernize a monolithic application into a microservices architecture.
• Role is heavily backend focused with minimal UI involvement is Plus
• Candidate should be capable of working independently with no handholding and should not rely solely on AI code generation ("no vibe coder").
• Contract position only.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based MCP Servers with Agentic workflows.
• Break down existing monolithic architecture into scalable microservices.
• Convert approximately 5 large stored procedure-based endpoints into microservices.
• Design and implement robust APIs using Java.
• Work extensively with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write clean, testable code with strong focus on unit testing.
• Understand MCP server structure and integrate Agentic capabilities.
• Strong Core Java with Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience with MCP Servers and Agentic Flow
• Deep knowledge of MySQL
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Unit Testing Methodologies
• Ability to modernize Monolithic Applications into Microservices
