Job Description:

• Lead analytics and data projects from initiation through delivery using Agile or hybrid methodologies
• Partner with business stakeholders to define analytics use cases, KPIs, and success metrics
• Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including:
• Data Engineers
• BI Developers
• Data Analysts / Data Scientists
• Business & Product Owners
• Translate business requirements into data and analytics deliverables
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance (financial/insurance regulations)
• Drive stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive updates
• Support prioritization and roadmap planning for analytics initiatives
• Oversee vendor/partner coordination when applicable

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Project Management experience, with 3–5 years in Analytics or Data projects
• Strong experience managing:
• BI & Reporting initiatives
• Data warehousing / data lake projects
• Advanced analytics or predictive modeling efforts
• Proficiency with Agile / Scrum / SAFe project delivery
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of:
• Data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• SQL & relational databases
• BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Credit Union environments
• Exposure to Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM, metadata, and regulatory reporting
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certifications
• Experience managing AI/ML or advanced analytics initiatives

• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
