Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and improve production applications while driving automation, stability, and performance enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve application issues through debugging and log analysis.
• Identify defects, recurring failures, and recommend long-term fixes.
• Manage incidents and communicate with users, app owners, and stakeholders.
• Improve application stability through trend analysis and proactive solutions.
• Automate alerts/processes using AppBank Engineering tools and ML-based automation.
• Participate in change management and enhance runbooks.
• Build reports to monitor application health and performance.
• Learn and support proprietary technologies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and problem-solving.
• Good communication skills for technical issue discussions.
• Experience with one programming language (Java, C/C++, .NET, Angular, etc.).
• Experience with one scripting language (Shell, Perl, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Experience with one RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle, DB2).
