Title: Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

VISA: NO H1B/CPT

This role will require someone to work in their Downtown Phoenix office Tuesday-Thursday each week.

The team is looking for a technically strong project leader who can work closely with engineering teams, translate technical concepts, and drive execution across ambiguous and fast-moving initiatives. You will act as a key connector between engineers, vendors, and state stakeholders, helping remove roadblocks, keep projects on track, and ensure successful delivery. Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or Software Delivery roles
• Strong experience supporting software development, application modernization, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience working directly with software engineering teams, architects, or technical leads
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software delivery lifecycles
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business teams, technical stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve blockers, and drive projects forward in dynamic environments
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing or stakeholder-heavy environments
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

• Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations
• Background in regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, or enterprise consulting
