Role overview

 

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Operations Associate, ABM Connect to support sales initiatives related to ABM Connect. This role will help manage follow-ups, gather and organize sales data, assist with RFP and proposal responses, and maintain visibility into active sales opportunities.

 

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, documentation, internal stakeholders, prospects, clients, and team members. They will help keep sales activities moving forward by improving coordination, tracking, documentation, and responsiveness across ABM Connect sales initiatives.

 

This role is focused on sales operations support, not direct sales ownership. The person in this position will help organize and support the sales process and provide senior leadership with timely, accurate information, but will not necessarily be responsible for carrying a sales quota.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Initiative Support

 

Support sales initiatives related to ABM Connect by tracking next steps, open items, and follow-up actions.

Conduct timely follow-ups with internal stakeholders, prospects, clients, and team members to ensure open items are completed.

Help ensure sales-related tasks, deadlines, and deliverables are completed on time.

Maintain organized documentation for active sales opportunities.

Assist with preparation for sales meetings, opportunity reviews, leadership updates, internal briefing documents, and opportunity summaries.

Track sales activity and provide visibility into the status of key opportunities.

Coordinate with sales, operations, product, technical, and leadership teams to gather information and support timely execution of sales priorities.

Support administrative and operational sales tasks.

Help identify process gaps or delays that may impact sales execution.

 

 

RFP and Proposal Support

 

Assist with RFP, RFI, proposal, and client questionnaire responses.

Gather required information from internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Track proposal requirements, deadlines, outstanding items, and submission status.

Organize draft responses, supporting documents, standard content, sales documentation, and related materials for review.

Help review proposal materials for completeness, consistency, formatting, and accuracy.

Maintain reusable proposal content, standard responses, and supporting documentation for future opportunities.

Coordinate internal follow-ups to ensure required RFP inputs are received on time.

Help prepare final response packages for leadership review.

Support continuous improvement of proposal templates, trackers, and response materials.

 

Data Gathering and Reporting

 

Gather and organize sales, account, client, opportunity, and pipeline-related data.

Maintain accurate information in CRM systems, spreadsheets, trackers, or internal tools.

Prepare basic reports, summaries, dashboards, trackers, and status updates.

Track opportunity status, follow-up activity, deadlines, deliverables, outstanding requests, and information needs.

Identify missing or incomplete data needed for proposals, reporting, follow-ups, or leadership updates.

Support pipeline visibility by keeping sales opportunity information current and organized.

Assist with documenting sales trends, activity updates, and progress against key initiatives.

Help ensure sales data is accurate, consistent, easy to access, and useful for decision-making.

Support process improvements related to data collection, reporting, tracking, follow-up management, proposal support, and sales documentation.

 

Qualifications

 

Experience supporting sales operations, business operations, proposal support, account support, or a similar role.

Experience coordinating follow-ups, tracking next steps, and managing deadlines across multiple initiatives.

Experience assisting with RFP, RFI, proposal, client questionnaire, or sales documentation efforts.

Comfort gathering, organizing, and maintaining sales, account, opportunity, pipeline, or client-related data.

Working knowledge of CRM systems, spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, or internal reporting tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow up professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work comfortably with documentation, data, and recurring status updates.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and keep work moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative approach with the ability to coordinate across sales, operations, product, technical, and leadership teams.
