Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support high-performance software engineering teams working on enterprise modernization initiatives within a Financial Services environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong Agile delivery experience supporting distributed systems, modernization programs, enterprise integrations, and engineering transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy and prioritized backlogs

• Remove delivery blockers and manage cross-functional dependencies

• Drive Agile best practices, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement

• Analyze Agile metrics including velocity, cycle time, and throughput

• Support release planning, risk management, and workstream coordination

• Protect teams from scope creep and external distractions

• Promote engineering best practices and quality-first delivery standards

• Facilitate collaboration between engineering, architecture, business, and support teams

Project Overview:

The team is modernizing legacy applications supporting File Transfers and Batch Operations (Money Movement) within enterprise financial systems. Existing applications are 15+ years old with critical security vulnerabilities and limited source code support. The initiative focuses on rewriting and re-platforming applications into modern architectures aligned with current cybersecurity and source control standards.
