Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web UI testing.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Implement, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).

Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and timely manner.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for test automation and QA processes.

Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Ensure that applications meet functional, performance, and security standards before release.

Required Skills & Qualifications

9 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on UI automation testing.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).

Experience with test frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or similar).

Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
