Job Title: C++/C Developers

Location: Jersey City, NJ Or NYC (NO RELOCATION)

Hybrid: 3 days onsite

Key Responsibilities:

•    Develop, maintain, and enhance C++ and C-based applications for capital markets and fixed-income trading platforms.

•    Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.

•    Build and optimize systems supporting front-office functions like trading, pricing, and risk management, as well as back-office operations such as settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.

•    Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to business needs.

•    Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication across internal and external systems.

•    Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain the highest quality standards.

•    Ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

•    Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

•    5+ years of professional experience in C++ and C development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and multithreading.

•    Financial services experience is highly desirable, particularly in capital markets or fixed-income domains.

•    Proficiency in front-office operations (trading, pricing, and risk) and back-office operations (settlement, clearing, and reporting).

•    Solid understanding of fixed-income products, trade lifecycles, and post-trade processes.

•    Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.

•    Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, TIBCO, or similar technologies.

•    Exposure to high-performance computing and real-time systems development.

•    Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills:

•    Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks within financial services.

•    Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and tooling.

•    Exposure to modern development methodologies and agile practices.
