Job Title: Technical Product Support Manager

Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Position Overview:

The Florida Department of Health is seeking an experienced Technical Product Support Manager to support the Florida SHOTS (State Health Online Tracking System) program. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting technical interoperability between Florida SHOTS and participating healthcare organizations, including EHR vendors and third-party systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in EHR systems, healthcare interoperability standards, and technical integrations, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure seamless data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Functional Responsibilities:

• Manage and support technical interfaces between Florida SHOTS and EHR/medical software systems
• Lead implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of interoperability solutions
• Coordinate with EHR vendors and third-party transport vendors to resolve message failures
• Review specifications, conduct interface testing, and support system integrations
• Provide technical training and support to healthcare providers and organizations
• Monitor and maintain data connectivity across enrolled organizations
• Identify and resolve duplicate or inconsistent system records
• Support data upload processes and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Perform routine data quality audits and ensure compliance with system standards
• Assist with consolidation requests and system transitions (e.g., VFC PIN transfers)

Collaboration & Communication:

• Conduct regular meetings with interoperability teams and field trainers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Provide monthly progress updates through reports, emails, and meetings
• Participate in departmental and stakeholder meetings
• Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions as required

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain and update technical documentation and system specifications
• Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality policies
• Stay updated with CDC vaccine codes and manufacturer updates
