Position: Senior Mobile Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ – Onsite

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and architecting native (iOS, Android) and hybrid (Ionic) mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of end-to-end mobile performance, robust API integration, and a strong commitment to quality, including monitoring, testing, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable native and hybrid mobile applications (iOS, Android, Ionic)
• Lead end-to-end performance optimization, including profiling, benchmarking, and troubleshooting
• Integrate and manage complex API connections, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for mobile app health and usage analytics
• Drive comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing)
• Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility best practices across all mobile platforms
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, Backend) to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app development and architecture (iOS, Android, Ionic)
• Proven track record of delivering high-performance, accessible, and reliable mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of mobile frameworks, API integration, and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools, automated testing, and accessibility standards (ADA)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
