Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst with deep expertise in Source-to-Target Mapping (STM), ETL processes, and healthcare data domains. This individual will be responsible for translating complex healthcare business requirements into detailed technical specifications, supporting data integration across clinical, claims, EMR/EHR, and analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of healthcare data standards, quality measures, workflows, and compliance requirements (HIPAA), and has hands-on experience working with data from payers, providers, or healthcare technology systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

·       5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in the Healthcare industry.

·       Strong experience with healthcare data sets: claims, eligibility, enrollment, clinical/EMR data, pharmacy, provider, or payer data.

·       Proven mastery in creating detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents for healthcare data integration.

·       Strong ETL/ELT knowledge including data transformation logic, cleansing rules, and validation.

·       Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational healthcare data structures.

·       Experience with HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare data governance.

·       Strong understanding of healthcare coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, LOINC, SNOMED).

·       Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
