Title: PHP Developer

Location: Remote

Type: Contract C2C

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop robust, secure, and scalable PHP applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Drive adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Evaluate new technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the product stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Expert in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend, or CodeIgniter).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, OOP, MVC, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL, query optimization, and database design.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js preferred).
• Proficiency in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
