Role Overview

Hexaware is seeking a Delivery Manager with a strong DevOps background to lead a Modern Delivery Toolchain managed services engagement for a large, regulated enterprise.

This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of the DevOps platform ecosystem, including:

•   Source Control

•   CI/CD Pipelines

•   Artifact Management

•   Infrastructure-as-Code

•   Container Platforms

•   Security & Compliance

•   Observability & ITSM Integration

The role combines service delivery leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder management to ensure high availability, compliance, and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Delivery, Governance & Reliability

•   Own SLAs/OLAs, SLOs/SLIs, runbooks, and ITIL v4 processes (incident, problem, change)

•   Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

•   Ensure platform stability, uptime, and reliability

•   Manage capacity planning, disaster recovery (DR), backup/restore, and high availability

2. Platform Operations & Modernization

•   Manage DevOps toolchain roadmap, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle

•   Standardize golden paths and platform blueprints

•   Promote automation-first operations (self-service, GitOps, policy-as-code)

3. DevOps & Engineering Leadership

•   Define best practices for: 

o   Branching strategies (trunk-based, GitFlow)

o   CI/CD pipelines and release governance

o   Artifact management and versioning

o   Infrastructure-as-Code and container orchestration

•   Establish reusable templates and reference architectures

•   Collaborate with SREs to improve observability, performance, and reduce toil

4. Security, Risk & Compliance

•   Implement: 

o   RBAC and least privilege access

o   Identity federation (OIDC/SAML)

o   Secrets management

•   Drive DevSecOps adoption: 

o   SAST, DAST, SCA

o   Artifact signing and supply chain security

•   Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)
