Job Title: Sr. Business Data Analyst

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Location: Hybrid in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC (Final interview is in person)

Key Requirements

Candidates need commercial property and casualty experience (minimum 2–3 years of recent experience).

Must be able to interview onsite in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC.

Not acceptable: ETL Developers or Cloud Engineers.

Most Important Required Skills

SQL, Snowflake, Oracle, Data Analysis, Data Quality (DQA), Data Warehousing, Insurance (Commercial Lines), Agile

Insurance Expertise – Prior P&C/Commercial Lines experience required; must understand insurance data flows from DW to data marts to reporting.

SQL & Data Analysis – Expert in SQL for data discovery, profiling, and validation across Oracle and Snowflake environments.

Data Quality & Data Mapping – Strong in data transformation, mapping documentation, and DQA to ensure business data accuracy.

Business–Technical Liaison – Translates business needs into technical data requirements and supports end-to-end analytics solutions.

Agile & Leadership Skills – Works within Agile teams; mentors junior analysts and drives best practices in data analysis and documentation.
